The Illescanos Baseball Team ("Equipo de Baseball Illescanos Inc.") is a non profit organization register and organize in Puerto Rico. This team has represented the Municipality of Coamo for four consecutive seasons in two different baseball tournaments.The tournaments are Youth Palomino ("Palomino Juvenil") and Youth Coliceba ("Coliceba Juvenil"). Thanks to our players, coaches and sponsors we have qualified in the play offs of both tournaments in two consecutive seasons.
During the past seasons we have grant opportunity to approximate 40 players from the Municipality of Coamo to play in our team. In generally we contract players from the Little Leagues (15-16 years), the Youth Double A and other organization.
During the fiscal year 2007-2008 the team will participate in both tournaments in the tradition of previous years. The estimated expenses of our team for both tournaments are $10,000.
